Teen Book Talk

Teen Book Talk

A virtual bi-monthly book discussion group for teens. Each month we will pick a new theme. May's theme is books that portray mental illness.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we find that books can not only help us understand and sympathize but also open the door to discussions about difficult topics.

Whether it's a character who has anxiety or depression or has been diagnosed with OCD, bipolar, or schizophrenia or a character who is has been affected by someone with a mental condition, choose a book that illuminates the different aspects of mental illness.

This second session we will discuss our likes and dislikes, whether we would recommend our books to other readers, and more!
