Remembering the Great War : World War I Centennial
In honor of the centennial anniversary of the signing of the Armistice of World War I, the City of Savannah presents Remembering the Great War, an online exhibit sharing the stories of soldiers and the items they carried with them. Like our physical Remembering the Great War exhibit (displayed at Savannah City Hall through December 2018), this online exhibit showcases even more of the fascinating loans the Municipal Archives received from our community to tell the story of the Great War.
