Join nationally recognized shark tooth and shelling expert Dr. Ashley Oliphant for this interactive adult lecture. Oliphant is the author of “The Ultimate Shell Seeker’s Guide: Building a Better Beachcombing Strategy” and “Shark Tooth Hunting on the Carolina Coast.” Most expert fossil and seashell hunters hold their secrets very close to the vest, but Dr. Oliphant will share all that she knows transparently, including specific hunting locations and strategies for finding even the most rare fossils and seashells all over the Eastern Seaboard. Participants will learn where to hunt, how to hunt, and how to identify species. The session is suited for shellers and fossil collectors whether they are experienced or new to the hobby. Afterward, she will sign her books and take questions from the audience. If you already own one of her books, please bring it to the session because she will be delighted to sign it. Dr. Oliphant is a very engaging teacher, and this session is guaranteed to be a lot of fun
