W. W. Law Lecture Series: From Then until Now: Short Memoirs of Eight African American Savannahians

AFTER HOURS PROGRAM:

From Then until Now: Short Memoirs of Eight African American Savannahians is a collection of personal stories that tell the life journeys of eight African American men born in Savannah, Georgia. Join us for readings from the memoir as these men share their humble beginnings and how they experienced the challenges of growing up in the Jim Crow South, living in nurturing neighborhoods, developing a strong spiritual foundation, and having excellent caring teachers and mentors who encouraged them to "aim high in life." Presented in part by the Savannah African Art Museum and Live Oak Public Libraries.
